Have you ever wanted to make your own private golf course? This is possible in the newest Fusion Labs game, CustomPlay Golf. CustomPlay golf, is a good looking golf game, but the most attention of the game goes to creating your own golf course with the possibility of importing your own textures, models and sound effects. After creating the desired course you get to shoot a round of golf and test your own design out, with your own player with a unique set of clubs, playing style and abilities.
When starting the game, you start with a creation option, this is to design your own course, the design possibilities are almost endless, depending on what you like. You have the possibility of creating a standard hole, or you can create a hole consisting of bunkers or water, you can make the course as difficult or as simple as your heart desires. Our first custom hole only consisted of water and bunkers and proved to be a rather difficult hole to master. In addition to the various hazards you can add to holes you have the possibility, off adding all sorts of minor effects to your course. An empty field is given too you where you can add your 18 holes, if you don't feel like creating a course and just want to shoot a casual game there is a random course generation option, which allows you to create new courses in seconds. The game play is very realistic, it offers traditional 3-click and mouse swing control. There's the possibility off choosing different game modes, including practice hole, play course, tournament match play, stroke play and online and offline multiplayer. Another nice option included in the game is the possibility off sharing you courses, textures and objects with other CustomPlay Golf community members, here you can find some off the nicest courses made, and test them out yourself. If you got friends who want to try the game, you can send them a playable demo of any of your holes, so they can test out the game, and check out what you made of your hole. Conclusion: CustomPlay Golf is similar to other golf sims, but adds a little variety with the options to create your own course or hole.
